About Honeypot Homes

Our Story

​Our journey began with our Director and Builder, Jarrod Auld-Newman, who grew up in this amazing location we call the Margaret River region. From a young age, Jarrod aspired to start his own building company, and in 2020, he turned this dream into reality. Honeypot Homes was founded to provide personalised builds where clients feel heard and can customise their homes to meet their unique needs.

Starting from humble beginnings, Jarrod graduated high school and entered the construction industry, completing his carpentry apprenticeship. Pursuing his dream further, he earned a Diploma of Building through the Housing Industry of Australia, which paved the way for the creation of Honeypot Homes.

Having grown up and lived in the South West region, Jarrod has a deep understanding of how to design buildings that harness the full potential of the local elements. This expertise ensures the best possible design and home for each client. Jarrod has over 15 years’ experience in the building and construction industry with extensive experience in building single-storey, double-storey, and large custom-built homes, home extensions, renovations as well as commercial construction and fitouts.
